Ukrainian Government calls for its Citizens to assist in winning the war — By building low cost drones at home

In many sections of the roughly 1,000-kilometer-long contested front, the heavy and modern western weapons that have been supplied to the Ukrainian side have to remain silent — due to a lack of ammunition. Their defensive Positions are held with difficulty. The West has promised supplies, but production capacities won’t ramp up until the end of the year to provide the much needed support. Long political talks and bureaucracy are delaying the vital shipments. However, necessity breeds ingenuity. Ukraine increasingly relies on homemade drones — and every Ukrainian with a soldering Iron at home has been asked to help.
