Recently, Ukraine launched the largest long-range drone barrage at Russia ever. They were able to hit an oil refinery in Moscow.
There were also reported hits near the Konakovo Power Station in the Tver region. Tver is about 180 km from Moscow.
The Importance of Hitting Targets in Moscow 🎯
While many of these drones were shot down, it is important that Ukraine keeps making efforts to hit targets in Moscow. Moscow has some of the richest residents of Russia, and so far they have been the most unaffected by the war. Many there try to pretend that is it not going on, or they hope for a defeat of Ukraine while they are far from the front lines. This city also has oligarchs that profit from the poorer Russians dying from the war while they live a life of extreme luxury.
