The Republican Party has a good likelihood of dying out in the future. Why is this? Because instead of promoting their own values and systems, a lot of them just got aboard with Trump because they saw it as the only way to win. Trump has been regularly attacking other Republicans since his early disputes with Jeb Bush in 2016.
Instead of fighting Trump, most Republicans have just fallen over and joined the Trump cult, promoting him above all else.
There are some problems with this strategy. One is that Trump is really old and will probably die soon. Maybe Ron DeSantis or someone can try to follow him, but none really have the same type of “MAGA” following. It’s likely that with trump gone, Republicans won’t be able to generate significant interest among voters anymore.
